Camp NAWIC : Girl's Construction Camp - Summer
Camp NAWIC is a construction camp for girls offered by the National Association of Women in Construction which offers a supportive and nurturing environment in which middle school and high school girls explore and develop basic skills in the areas of carpentry, electrical and welding. They’ll be introduced to successful women working in various phases of construction.
Camp NAWIC is a unique, one-week hands-on training camp taught by local contractors and construction technology instructors. Girls learn what it takes to create a project in a fun atmosphere using the skills of construction trades, teamwork, and responsibility. The event is FREE and includes a camp t-shirt, personal toolkit and safety equipment.
Camp NAWIC 2019 will be June 17-21 and runs Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Registration is not yet open, the troop will be notified when registration is available.
